If you are in the dark on this title, Hearthstone is Blizzard's free-to-play digital card game, where players can choose from nine hero classes and customize their decks with minions, spells, and weapons based on the Warcraft universe. Obviously, this bad boy has a built in fanbase like you wouldn't believe (unless you are already playing it, of course). Hearthstone has a variety of game modes ranging from head-to-head duels to story-driven solo adventures, and is available globally for Windows and Mac PCs; Windows, iOS, and Android tablets.
In this expansion, a new coalition of villains have risen to power, and you get to be one of the bad guys. Beginning April 9th, players will be able to join a league of evil miscreants as they embark on Hearthstone’s first-ever yearlong story line, with 135 new cards and some wicked new mechanics. Team up with the League of E.V.I.L., a supergroup of Azeroth's most nefarious villains kind of like the Legion of Doom from DC comics, and take down the pesky heroes. The story follows a defeat at the hands of the League of Explorers, with Arch-Thief Rafaam realizing that his designs on Azeroth would require more evil than he can muster on his own. In the years since, he's recruited the greatest antagonists Hearthstone has ever seen to join the League of E.V.I.L., including King Togwaggle, Madam Lazul, Dr. Boom, and Hagatha the Witch. A true rogues gallery, indeed.
