Nintendo's subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online is already cheap, and once you throw in some free games, it's a bit of a no-brainer. They've already offered some big name games like Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Dr. Mario, Metroid, and more, and the hits keep on coming. The pricing options right now are $4 per month or $8 for three months, but a year long membership is available for $20, and a family membership (up to eight people) is $35 USD for the year.

Available as of March 13th, members can get their hand son Star Tropics and one of my personal favorites from back in the day, Kid Icarus. The plot of Kid Icarus is pretty straightforward, as games back in the day generally were. You are Kid Icarus (Pit) on a quest for three sacred treasures, which you'll equip to rescue the Greek-inspired Angel Land and its ruler, the goddess Palutena. The player controls Pit through platforming areas while fighting monsters and collecting items, using your trusty bow and arrow to dispatch your Greek mythology inspired enemies. You also can get turned into an eggplant, which is disturbing and irritating. If you haven't played this title before, give this game a shot, it's a total blast.

Both games are available now for free, provided you have a membership.
