The PlayStation 4 is still kicking hard, and is arguably the best console out there. I say that because that statement is extremely debatable, but as someone who has just beaten (or re-beaten) God Of War, The Last of Us Remasterd and Bloodborne, the PS4 is still looking gorgeous and kicking serious ass. Sure, it doesn't have the gimmicks and gadgets that the Switch has, but the game lineup is impressive as all get out. Real talk.
However, if you want to play with the homeys online, or if you don't want to leave your house to hear a 14 year old tell you that your dad is a homosexual or that your mother is a prostitute, you're going to have to get a PS Plus membership, which can be pricey. However, you are in luck: although the yearly membership will generally run you $60, there is a pretty sweet deal going on right now that you should be aware of, allowing you to save some valuable cheese.
Right now, you can get a PS Plus 12-month membership for $44.99 (25% off its retail price on Amazon), which breaks down roughly to three months free. Get a move on quickly though, we never know how long these deals will last.
