First Person Horror Title, Among the Sleep - Enhanced Edition, Has A New Switch TrailerVideo Game News Online, Gaming News

Among the Sleep, developed by Norwegian developer Krillbite, is a first person horror game that tells the story of a two-year old child going on a terrifying trip around the house in order to find his missing mother. The game picked up a slew of awards when it was first released, and now the Enhanced Edition offers up some new content in the form of a new Museum Level prologue, along with behind the scenes content and some extra footage.

Gameplay is simplistic, with players using the cursor to walk or crawl around, the latter of which is faster and is required to slide through obstacles blocking the way. Running is also an available option, but, being a two year old, the player will fall down if they run for too long. The player can interact with and push objects and open doors and windows, and they can climb boxes and tables to reach otherwise unreachable heights.  The bear that chills with the kid can be squeezed to act as a flashlight, and he also will talk to you and give you hints.

The update also includes a digital artbook and a digital soundtrack, plus, in an option that no one saw coming, players now get to choose which pajamas their character wears in the game, so there's that. Finally, new dialogue has been added and a plethora of improvements were made in terms of visuals, performance and gameplay. There is also an alternate, ghastly ending that was cut from the original title, and you'll have to play to find out what it is.

Among the Sleep releases on the Switch both digitally and physically on the 29th of May. Additionally, the game is getting a new physical version for PS4 and Xbox One.
