Ubisoft has released their interstellar arcade shooter VR title, Space Junkies today for PSVR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality. Before you ask, hell yeah this bad boy is playable cross-platform, so all your pals with Windows Mixed Reality can actually play this one.

Burn.

Now, if you don't know Ubisoft, they are the folk who have been associated with titles like Assassin's Creed, Just Dance, Tom Clancy's entire video game series, Rayman, Far Cry and Watch Dogs. See? You do know them. Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, Space Junkies is a multiplayer competition set in three-dimensional space arenas using "full VR embodiment" (If you're wondering, that means you can see your own legs).

The game's intense microgravity battles include four different PvP modes you can play across several unique maps, as well as a variety of characters with unique characteristics, which I gotta say is really nothing new. What else could they have besides, "unique characteristics?". Still, if you want to really dig in to what this title has to offer, you can check out their dev diary here.
Additionally, Space Junkies will receive regular new content beyond release, including new modes, new maps, weapons and customization items, so there should be plenty to do in the future. Check out the trailer below.
