The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Alliance War is the new expansion for Elder Scrolls: Legends, which officially releases on April 15 for PC, iOS, and Android. Although Bethesda keeps saying this is "newly announced" and "just announced" (as in now), this reveal was technically dropped at PAX East, so I don't know what the hell they're talking about. Regardless of what got revealed when, the expansion is inspired by the war of the alliances in Elder Scrolls Online and introduces over 100 new cards and five new three-color house card combinations.
Boy, everybody loves the card games these days.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Alliance War has a bunch of upcoming content, so you can take a look at the roadmap below and see what included content will be released later this year.
The meta will make its biggest change thus far in this new expansion with some new mechanics, like Mobilize and Empower, plus five new card color combinations. The Daggerfall Covenant, the Aldmeri Dominion and the Ebonheart Pact might be recognizable to fans of the series, but there are two new factions, the Empire of Cyrodiil and the Guildsworn, both of which are making their first appearance in The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Alliance War. Here's the details on the factions:
Empire of Cyrodiil – Willpower, Agility, Endurance
o Fallen from prominence, the Empire clings to its last shreds of power at the center of the conflict.
Daggerfall Covenant – Strength, Intelligence, Endurance
o A faction of Redguard, Breton, and Orsimer seeking to restore the Second Empire of Men under the rule of High King Emeric.
Aldmeri Dominion – Intelligence, Willpower, Agility
o Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit faction seeking to reestablish Elven dominance over Tamriel.
Ebonheart Pact – Strength, Agility, Endurance
o Contentious alliance between the Dunmer, Nords, and Argonians formed out of necessity to preserve their independence.
Guildsworn – Strength, Intelligence, Willpower
o A coalition formed between the Fighters Guild and Mages Guild to protect the people of Tamriel from the collateral damage of the war and the Daedric invasion.
