Feather is a peaceful game that's all about chilling out, so if Sekiro has you stressed to the max, this might be a good game to ease your frayed mind. In Feather, you become a bird, flying around in a zen-like flow while chilling hard to the soothing ambient soundtrack. You'll be getting your swoop on, and participating in all kinds of bird-esque stuff, like gliding, backfliping and barrel rolling your way around the island.
Feather has no enemies, no combat and no threats; just peaceful flight by yourself or with other birds. I know that for most of us, our instincts are to find a laser weapon, strap it to the bird, then rain down fiery death from above, but that is not what Feather is all about. Instead of targeting enemies with missile strikes, you'll explore a vast open world and search for new songs which can be found throughout the land. Each element of the island responds to your presence with a hum, tone and rhythm to connect you to the world.
Take a look at the trailer below; the flight looks snappy and responsive, and the music really is soothing. This might be a nice break for everyone who has been slitting throats and popping zombie heads for the last two months.
Feather is available now for $9.99 USD via the Nintendo eShop, Steam, Discord, Humble Store, itch.io.
