God Eater 3 is heading to the Nintendo Switch on July 12, 2019, which should be a good fit for everyone's favorite schizophrenic "sometimes handheld, sometimes console" little system. It's an especially good fit, since some of the monstrous beasts known as Aragami in God Eater 3 are friggin massive, so why not bring a couple of pals along to help drop the big bastards?  We knew you'd agree.

In God Eater 3, you and some pals will join the elite force known as God Eaters, real G's who are imbued with the ability to wield God Arcs, specialized weapons to take down the damn near indestructible Aragami threat that has almost destroyed the planet. Now, don't go getting all grabby on the God Arcs, since these weapons come in a wide variety of melee and ranged style weapons, including swords, hammers, sickles, spears, shotguns, sniper rifles, and more. On top of that, each weapon also comes with unique transforming functions, so you can get even more slash for your buck, switching up your Arc to deal different types of damage. In short, there's plenty God Arcs to go around.

Players can team-up with three other God Eaters either online or via couch co-op to handle story missions together or combine forces with seven other players online to play Assault Missions, burly group battles that are the biggest the series has ever seen. It ain't all whistling dixie, either; when cooperating and fighting as a team, you can activate the Battle Support System, unleashing new abilities that share out various power-ups to help the entire team kick serious ass.

God Eater 3 hits the Switch on July 12, 2019. The trailer is below, but be warned that the music sounds like it was made by a 5 year old who just "learned" how to write songs.
