I swear to god, I can't even keep up. It seems like every fifteen minutes, I'm writing about new Tomb Raider DLC. Not that I'm complaining, most of it has been stellar, but I literally finished writing about the last DLC in a friggin volcano, went and put a pop-tart in the toaster, and before it popped back up, someone yelled, "Have we covered the new Path From Home DLC for Tomb Raider?" Let me eat a friggin pop-tart for god's sake!
Yet, who am I to complain? This game is rad and I'll take whatever DLC they've got. The final DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider is out now as a free download to all Season Pass holders, called “The Path Home”. Following the end of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it seems like everything was over, wrapped up with a neat little bow. However, some allies go missing, and Lara has to tomb raid some ancient tunnels to try and find them. This slice of dlc has a brand-new challenge tomb, which contains a secret that’s predictably been hidden for ages.
You also get the new Midnight Sentinel outfit, which enables longer focus and perception duration, and the Silver Strike bow, which fires arrows that penetrate enemy body armor or can even pierce multiple unarmored enemies. In addition, the new Magic Touch skill allows Lara to consume fewer resources when crafting on the go.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available on Xbox One, PS4, and Steam. The Season Pass is available for $29.99, and The Path Home is exclusive to the Season Pass.
