Everybody has to get down with the zombies these days. If you don't have zombies in your game, what the hell are you even doing? Effing up, apparently.
In Elsweyr, not only does the threat of dragons loom overhead, there's danger from down below in the form of the undead. Yeah, these chompy bastards are rising from the grave and into your face, courtesy of the long-awaited Necromancer Class coming in Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr. Check out the video for an idea of what these zombies are capable of. Here's a hint: biting.
Here's some info on how necromancy works in the world of Elder scrolls:
“In broad strokes, necromancy is about the creative manipulation of the soul, or animus, which is one of the basic building blocks of life in Tamriel,” explains Leamon Tuttle, ESO’s Loremaster. “Necromancers use their power to cast spells, bind souls into service, and use lesser Daedric spirits to reanimate corpses. The Mages Guild identifies necromancy as its own distinct school of magic, but some Necromancers say it’s just an offshoot of mysticism, conjuration, and enchantment—no more dangerous than fireballs and scrying spells.”
ESO: Elsweyr is coming to PC/Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 4th.
