Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark has some ambitions, alright: while the game's tactical combat is nothing too new, using rugged terrain and elevation to mix up battles and everything taking place on hand-drawn environments, the game does have a whopping 30+ classes and 300 abilities to let you really dig into the system and customize all your characters, from their class, sub-class and passives. Of course, if that wasn't enough, there's also over 240 pieces of equipment, plus a crafting system that's only going to give you more options to struggle over.
Taking place in the world of Teora, a land whose claim to fame was that it once was ravaged by a brutal beast bent on complete destruction (aren't they always?), the place narrowly escaped being turned into a lifeless husk thanks to the Council of Immortals, new Gods who now rule the land through mortal agents, known as Arbiters. The Council and their Arbiters keep the peace by enforcing stability and order, but there is more than a little tyranny in the deal as a trade-off. As Kyrie, an Arbiter on an adventure to protect the land and uncover centuries-old secrets, you'll have to get to the root of the balance between the powers and try to have Teora come out on top.
The screens below will give you a good look at the hand-drawn style, Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is out now.
