This game is a ton of fun. Shooting Nazis with that X-ray, Mortal Kombat effect is pretty top notch, and after you shoot a Nazi in the crotch then blow his buddies femurs off (that'll teach em to stand in a straight line!) you will be forced to agree. Unless you are squeamish. Then you'll probably think that I'm some kind of monster. But that's your problem, I'm out here trying to save the friggin free world.
For the rest of us, rejoice! Rebellion dropped this new trailer for Sniper Elite V2 Remastered today, which details "7 Reasons to Upgrade" to the remaster of this 2012 classic. On top of 4K and HDR support on available platforms (sorry, Switch), Sniper Elite V2 Remastered has updated environments, characters, weapons and vehicles, modernized rendering and post-processing effects, enhanced texturing and level geometry, a revamped lighting system, and a ton of little updates and refinements.
On top of the visual upgrades, there's also a brand new frame-by-frame photo mode, seven new playable characters from Rebellion's Zombie Army series, expanded multiplayer for up to 16 players online, and all the additional content ever released for the game as well. It's pretty much the entire package, and don't think that I can't make a crotch-shot/package joke here. I can. Easily. I just choose not to.
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will launch May 14th, for PS4, Xbox One, PC and the Switch.
thanks
