For Honor is the free-for-all multiplayer war game where you pick your clan, be it Viking, Knights, Samurai, etc., then unleash hell on your opponent. Season 2 is delivering a new samurai hero called the hitokiri, who will be included in the existing lineup of 23 heroes spread across the four factions in the game. The Hitoriki, who can be played either as female heroines (called Sakura) or male heroes (called Yato), are brutal executioners who use the Masakari, a big-ass samurai battle ax, which they can further devastate with by taking a special stance to combine heavy attacks and perform special moves.
On top of the new hero, Season 3 introduces the new Canopy card, as well as some various hero enhancements for Legate Providers and Looters. These enhancements are just the latest from the dev team who are making good on their promise to continually expand the experience and improve overall game balance with major updates. Here's the breakdown on the new hero, from the Ubisoft press release:
"The Hitokiri are ghostly warriors who have lost all faith in humanity. They wander the land clutching their Masakari, the mighty axes they used to sentence criminals, their presence on the battlefield spreading a black cloud that can terrify all enemies."
Dope.
