Boss Crushers, the multiplayer rogue-lite title from Space Horse has been cooking in Steam Early Access for a while now, and now they've deemed it finished enough to release it for real. The game pits a group of mercenaries who are trying to free the lands against a gang of invading bosses and of course, their armies of minions. Played alone or with friends, you'll develop your character, earn and learn new abilities, find items and artifacts and basically pimp out your merc so you can crush bosses (get the title now?). All of this will help you defeat bosses and their followers. Even if your character dies, you still get the experience that makes your merc guild stronger. So, basically, even if you totally suck, you can tell your teammates that you're "helping".
Each boss possesses unique mechanics, behaviors, and abilities, and the devs claim that the bosses are "hardcore," and that, "to defeat a boss, [you'll need to] think like a boss, live like a boss, be a boss." So, if you were planning on being yourself, that ain't gonna work (slam). The game environments are randomly generated, so each run is a new labyrinth of rooms with a unique set of enemies and bosses. Space Horse is also hyping the toughness of the experience, as the game gets hard, fast, and dying and leveling will be tied into the entire experience.
