Tabletop Gods finally give you the chance to play as a god, and I'm not talking about a "God on earth" like Kratos. I'm talking about a bonafide deity.
In Tabletop Gods, there's a bit of a problem. You see, the Elder God has vanished, and her disappearance is not a good thing. War pretty much immediately breaks out across the heavens, and now, it's an Godly, eternal free-for-all.
The gameplay centers around three rounds, which you'l use to destroy your opponent's Strongholds before they can destroy of yours. Each round starts with a little time to swap out spells and troops, set traps and deploy mighty weapon towers for the coming conflict. You'll use Mana to deploy troops onto the tabletop battlefield to attack enemy strongholds or to defend your own, cast spells to stop your enemy's advances or to bolster your own attacks.
Every time you crush an enemy stronghold, you'll get new territory, where you can deploy more of your forces, from Human, Undead and even Demon factions, plus, merc troops who will fight for any side provided you have the coin.
Tabletop Gods Tabletop Gods spent their Early Access time like most companies do: scrambling to make tons of fixes and improvements, and they've added a new playable faction & tabletop battlefield, better units, new spells and traps, more language localizations, and crushing a gang of bugs.
