Infected Shelter wants you to believe that their new game is represented by the following formula: Mortal Kombat + Dead Cells + Castle Crashers = Infected Shelter. That, dear gaming friends, is a lofty equation.
Infected Shelter is a randomly generated rogue-lite post-apocalyptic action RPG shooter / dungeon brawler, which is a hell of a description in itself. You can roll single player or co-op for up to four players, but you should bring your buddies, as every run is different due to the aforementioned randomly generated content. Killing enemies will net you more than 150 different blueprints of permanent improvements which is basically the key to Infected Shelter's replayability.
Instead of just collecting loot to make yourself more powerful during a single run, you unlock new weapons, clothes, skills, relics and RPG-like character improvements that change how you play the game in subsequent runs. Obviously, this game is built almost solely on replayability, and you can tell they've thought it out, with 150+ blueprints to unlock new weapons, clothes, skills, relics and RPG-like character improvements, 50+ brutal, ultra-violent executions, 50+ character traits, 4 different playable characters and everything under the sun in terms of killing implements, from guitars and wheelchairs to guns swords and more guns.
You can even find pets.
Out for PC, Mac and Linux now with Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One coming later, watch the gore-soaked trailer to see if it's your cup of blood.
