Backed by none other than the FIA World Rally Championship the WRC series has come roaring back with some simulation-centered gameplay, a dynamic weather system, and a completely redesigned Career mode. WRC 8 is also offering more content than ever, and I'm talking 102 special stages spread across 14 countries, and a complete selection of historic cars to boot.
Yeah. There's a lot going on here.
The big focus here was to refine the gameplay and the sensation of driving, so publisher and developer Bigben and Kylotonn invited some of the best players in the WRC eSports community to try out an alpha version of WRC 8, so they could dial in the physics, graphics, weather, level design, and game modes for two solid days, so everything would be dialed in just so. Take a look below to see how it all turned out.
WRC 8 will be available September 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
