Ubisoft sure doesn't screw around with content and announcements for their series; it seems like every day something new is coming down the pipe and today is no different, as we've got the skinny on the second season of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Year 4 content. Operation Phantom Sight introduces an all-new Attacker and a Defender, Nøkk and Warden respectively, plus a major map rework of Kafe Dostoyevsky, the high-class locale in the heart of Moscow. On top of that, in Year 4 Season 2 we'll get some new changes to the recently implemented feature, Reverse Friendly Fire, as well as updates to the Rainbow Six Siege storefront, ranked playlist and a few other smaller tweaks.
In the new season, Nøkk and Warden will change how intel is gathered as the newest additions to the Rainbow Six Siege Operator lineup. Nøkk is rolling deep with a FMG-9 and an SIX12-SD, and uses her high-tech HEL Presence Reduction gadget to silently navigate behind enemy lines, as she cannot be seen by cameras or drones. She's like a ninja with a gun.
Warden, on the other hand, can use his Glance Smartglasses to enhance his vision, giving him better visibility in smoke as well as immunity to flashes, provided that he's remaining totally still. His M590A1 and MPX also makes him a powerful anchor and entry denier in defense.
Take these two new badasses on a spin through the reworked map of Kafe Dostoyevsky, which incorporates significant changes to the map to change up gameplay. The first floor has been redesigned, new Bomb sites are on the second floor, plus many other updates, like improving replayability and gameplay opportunities.
The Test Server for Operation Phantom Sight will go live on May 21.
