The long dark is a first-person survival game developed and published by Hinterland Studio, where the player assumes the role of a crash-landed bush pilot who must survive the frigid Canadian wilderness after a global disaster. The problems occur when, flying over the forests of Canada, you run into a geomagnetic storm. All technological devices immediately cease to function, and the plane crashes. On the ground, you realize you’re the sole survivor and also, that it is wicked cold. Time to start surviving.
The title has been hotfixed, and you can read all about it below, or get straight to the dev page here.
