Draugen is an interesting title, a psychological mystery set in a remote coastal town in the Norwegian Fjords. The whole thing has a creepy air to it, and has you traveling back to 1923, assuming the role of Edward Charles Harden and his young ward Lissie, two Americans who find themselves far from home in search for Edward's missing sister. Despite finding nothing amiss in her letters, Edward is positive that something is very, very wrong.
Lissie is your constant companion throughout the game, and looks to be a decent one; the foil to Edward, she's a smart teenager who constantly gives him crap, but at the core, they are good friends, which shows in the trailer below. Edward, on the other hand, has some demons to contend with, a shut-in who obsessively searches for his sister Elizabeth, a woman who disappeared without a trace. He is solely focused on this task, and the environment around them shifts strangely to reflect these moods.
The whole of Draugen is the mystery that surrounds Elizabeth, and what has happened to her. You'll explore the Norwegian town nestled in the fjords, until you find out what, if anything, went wrong. The trailer below gives you a good look at the game, and captures the feel of the land and atmosphere. The character descriptions are below, and Draugen is out now on PC.
