My, my, my, do I love a good old fashioned JRPG. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II picks up one month after the battle that changed the fate of an entire nation at the conclusion of Trails of Cold Steel. In addition to the fast, tactical turn-based combat and the returning "ARCUS" system, there's a new Overdrive mode, a new means of transportation across both the land and sky plus the always included new allies, dangers, and a new adventure for Rean who is trying to right the wrongs that have led the country into disarray.
This new PS4 console version contains new updated features including dual voiceover options for either English or Japanese audio and additional recorded English dialog scenes. Other new features have been designed for returning players including the turbo mode option previously released in the PC versions of the series and in the recent PlayStation 4 release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel.
Also, you can pick up where the story left off, with the option to transfer save data from the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, so all of your previous work will not be in vain. Doing so will grant bonuses to those who accomplished various goals in the first title, allowing players to see the results of some of their earlier choices and accomplishments while playing the sequel.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II arrives for the PS4 on June 4th.
