Today, Ubisoft announced that its E3 media briefing will be followed by the Twitch Rivals x Rainbow Six Siege Celebrity Showdown to promote the upcoming Operation Phantom Sight, including all new operators, Nøkk and Warden, which we did some reporting on last week. The match will feature well-known music artists Lil Yachty and T-Pain (for some odd reason), who will lead two teams of streamers from all around the world towards victory. Teams will compete for a $50,000 Twitch Rivals prize pool and celebrity captains will compete for an additional $50,000 to be donated to the charity of their choice, bringing the total prize pool to $100,000.
This live event will take place immediately after the Ubisoft E3 conference and will be broadcasted live on the Ubisoft official Twitch channel, the official Twitch Rivals Channel, as well as on each streamer's channel.
The roster of participants include one European team formed of ZanderLP, Sacriel, BikiniBodhi and one North American team with Annemunition, Therussianbadger, Lil-Lexi and Bnans.
The Ubisoft E3 media briefing will take place on June 10 at 1pm PT/ 22pm CEST.
