Now, this looks legit. Made by Airship Syndicate, the developers behind the fantastic Battle Chasers: Nightwar (read our review here), Darksiders Genesis is a top down, isometric title that looks a lot like the loot heavy gameplay of Diablo. Introducing a brand new horsemen in Strife, he "is called upon to save humankind from certain destruction at the hands of Lucifer" .
Lucifer always seems to be causing problems and talking shit, isn't he?
Claiming that "Genesis will feature intense combat, exploration, puzzle-solving, epic boss battles and serpent holes from heaven to hell," if you watch the trailer, you can see what looks suspiciously like War, the protagonist from the original Darksiders, fighting alongside the newest Horseman. The original Darksiders came out in 2010 from Vigil Games, with a second title following the exploits of Death, and the third came out last year, released by THQ Nordic.
The reveal trailer claims that the game is coming to Google Stadia, Switch, PS4, Windows PC, and Xbox One but no release date has been announced.
