Man, Team17 has been kicking it out of the friggin park lately, publishing interesting indie titles that are getting a lot of acclaim, and today is no different. Teaming up with their creative partner and indie developer, Black Matter, is dropping the authentic WWII shooter Hell Let Loose into Steam Early Access.
Hell Let Loose gives us 50 vs. 50 tactical battles, tossing you into the chaos of war, with a little of everything; gunplay, player-controlled vehicles, a dynamically evolving front line, and unit-focused gameplay that determins the tide of battle. They really lean into the authenticity, with maps modeled on real reconnaissance images and satellite data, and the entire battlefield is divided up into large capture sectors - allowing for some unique gameplay in a fight to the death across a variety of locations, with fields, bridges, forests and towns on that aforementioned ever-evolving front line.
Hell Let Loose is out on Steam EA today.
