Dark Quest 2's setup is nothing new: the game features a party based system where you control a group of heroes, an isometric hand-drawn art style and dice based mechanics to brawl.
However, the lore and style may intrigue you. The story driven campaign that takes you through a series of adventures on "your epic quest to defeat the evil sorcerer," but the multiplayer features drop-in and drop-out co-op for up to 3 players.
You'll assemble a party and control a group of heroes, each with their own personality and strengths, which you'll need to explore twisted mazes, find hidden doors and fight orcs, who are jerks in this game, much like every other one you've ever played. Learn new powers, craft new weapons and mix potions that improve the capabilities of your heroes in the village (the hub), and the skull of fate mechanic leaves some things up to chance, when you have no hope your last and only way out will be to roll the skull of fate and reveal your twisted fate. Sounds pleasant!
