I thought this thing was dead in the water, but I'm happy to report that the X-Men spinoff, Gambit, will be released on Valentine's Day, 2019.
Channing Tatum is still attached as Remy Lebeau, the mutant thief with an affinity for playing cards. Still not sure how exactly that will work out, since Remy is a thin, acrobatic fighter while Channing Tatum is a stocky, beef-cake brawler, but I'll withhold judgement until I see some set pics.
Marvel is still alive and kicking, despite everyone from critics to fans claiming that superhero fatigue is right around the corner. Any day now it'll set in...annnnnyyyyy day now.
Gambit is set for release on Feb. 14th, 2019.
