First things first; did you even LOOK at that Pet Sematary poster? If not, take a long look at it. It's awesome. That particular poster is by Mike Saputo, and you can get yourself or offer him money for more of his amazing art here.
Onto the actual article, but I am digging that poster all day.
In the infinite, never-ending sea of reboots and remakes, it's Pet Sematary's turn.
Stephen King properties have been hot these days with the terrible "The Dark Tower" (WHY?? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO US? WE NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU, YOU HOLLYWOOD BASTARDS!) to the much better received "IT".
Now, we get Pet Sematary. If you don't remember the original, here is a quick refresher.
I know it looks pretty friggin corny now, but back in the day, this movie was pretty well received and it made good money. If you haven't read the book, it's definitely in S.K.'s top ten.
The new directors are coming off of Starry Eyes, which is a super messed up flick. It's surreal and out there, but you can see the style that they can bring to Pet Sematary.
Pet Sematary doesn't have a release date (obviously they haven't begun shooting yet), but i'll keep you updated when they do.
