I can actually back this up. I've tried it and it works, not in all cases, but enough that it is a good tool to have in your toolbox.
Yesplz.co has broken some very helpful news to the busy consumer, The basic idea is that when you are sent to a robotic "help" menu, whether it's calling Wal-Greens or the doctor's office, you can raise your voice and swear, and it will direct you to the real person you were trying to speak to all along. Basically, the system realizes you are through getting jerked around, and in the interests of your blood pressure, they'll actually let you speak to who you are trying to speak to.
Try it at the DMV!
Don't try it when you are calling the government.
