I'm straight up, down with Jude Law. He was the only thing I liked about Sherlock Holmes, he played an excellent villain in The Road To Perdition, and he was stellar in Enemy At The Gates, just to name a few. Now, he's jumping into the Marvel universe, playing Mar-Vell, opposite Brie Larson in the upcoming Captain Marvel film.
In addition to introducing Mar-vell and Captain Marvel, the film is going to introduce the skrulls into the MCU, possibly opening the door for secret invasion, among many other story-lines.
