This film is starting to look better and better (take a look at some of our previous coverage here, here and here), and this Kendrick song is great, too. With Lamar helping out on the tracks, and an incredibly talented cast, here's hoping this isn't going to be a run-of-the-mill superhero story. Luckily, we've already gotten Black Panther's "origin" out of the way when he debuted in Captain America: Civil War.
The cast includes Danai Gurira, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Dora Milaje soldier Nakia, Letitia Wright as T’Challa’s sister Shuri, Daniel Kaluuya as T’Challa’s friend W’Kabi, Forest Whitaker as Wakandan statesman Zuri, Winston Duke as M’Baku, and Angela Bassett as Queen Mother of Wakanda Ramonda.
Watch this new trailer, turn the bass up on your speakers, and get ready for a (hopefully) good time when Black Panther releases on February 16th.
