I do love me a Tarantino film. After the strange news that Tarantino might direct a Star Trek film, we just got word that Tarantino's upcoming film based on the Manson family will star Leonardo DiCaprio. The film's plot is being kept under wraps (except for the time period and place, the summer of 1969 in Los Angeles) but we do know that he will play an aging actor in the story.
There is also word that Tarantino wants Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad, I, Tonya) to play the role of Sharon Tate, and Deadline reported that Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have both been linked to the project, although there is nothing concrete there yet.
As much as I hate to promote a scum-rag like TMZ here on this site, the video of them speaking with Tarantino-movie staple, Michael Madsen is actually on youtube, not TMZ's official site, so I can almost look myself in the mirror.
