Boy, that Chris Pratt. Going from chunky schlubb to action hero in like 5 years. Crazy. First he wrecked shop with Jurassic World, then he killed it as Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, now he's a Cowboy Ninja Viking. Wild.
The movie has finally found its director in Michelle MacLaren, best known for her award-winning work on Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. Talk about top-notch pedigree. The film has been in developmental limbo for a while, all the way back to 2014, so the studio is fast-tracking things now that they finally have a director, and we should hopefully see the completed movie June 28, 2019.
Based on an Image Comics title by A.J. Lieberman, Cowboy Ninja Viking is the story of a counter-intelligence/black ops type unit that uses multiple personality disorder patients to create agents known as "Triplets", called so because each killer has three personalities. When some of the triplets go rogue, it's up to the most badass triplet of all, Cowboy Ninja Viking to take them down.
