Wreck-It Ralph was a surprising hit back in 2012, starring Sarah Silverman and John C. Reilly. The plot surrounded Ralph, who was tired of being a "bad guy" destined to lose forever to the "good guy", Fix-It Felix. Joining up with Vanellope von Schweetz (Silverman), Ralph went on a series of adventures to prove he could be a hero, and yadda, yadda, yadda. The movie was surprisingly good, and was jam-packed with comic, game and pop culture references, like this amazing scene below at a villain support group.
In the sequel, Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet, we see the franchise moving closer to the present, with the early introduction of the internet. Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz leave Litwak's video arcade behind, and venture into the wild world of the interweb, in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's game, called Sugar Rush. Of course, on the way they'll meet zany and familiar characters, much like in the original film, although I would assume that the jokes and characters will be more internet-related than old school arcade game related this go around.
