We are almost ready to sit in theaters for this one, and early reviews are trickling in. So far, everything I am hearing about this movie is pretty good, with gaming fans freaking out over the 6 million easter eggs packed into this thing.
Set in 2045, the world is on the brink of chaos and collapse, so instead of joining greenpeace, everyone just turns on their idiot boxes and tunes out. The difference between them and us is basically that their TV's are way cooler than ours. Created by local genius, James Halliday (Mark Rylance), when Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world.
Ready, Player One heads to theaters March 29th.
