Hot on the heels of the new Ant-Man & The Wasp trailer (which looks pretty rad), I was hunting down more info when I stumbled across these amazing shorts on Disney XD, from French directors Manach & Bienvenu. This pair of directors use animation as their medium, and have "cultivated a contemporary, experimental style reminiscent of the comic books of the 40s and 50s."
I can definitely attest to that after watching these videos. In these animated shorts, you can watch Ant-Man help rescue his daughter's science project while fighting Yellowjacket, dodging giant cheese, traveling through "space" and avoiding a giant hamster. You can check out all the shorts on Disney's youtube channel.
Ant-Man & The Wasp is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, and features Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who is under house arrest after the events of Civil War. Trying to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's doing a so-so job when Hope van Dyne (The Wasp) and Hank Pym present him with a new mission.
Ant-Man & The Wasp premieres July 6th.
