Man, somewhere out there Frank Castle is probably loading a magazine personally for the writers of this flick. Sure, I'm judging this hard based on a single trailer, but boy oh boy, tell me this isn't she-Punisher.

Riley North awakens from a coma after surviving a brutal attack that killed her husband and daughter. When the system shields the murderers from justice, Riley sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerrilla. Channeling frustration into motivation, the young widow spends years in hiding -- honing her mind, body and spirit to become an unstoppable force. Eluding the underworld, the police and the FBI, Riley embarks on a deadly quest to deliver her own personal brand of punishment.
I mean, damn. They even shoot up her family at a carnival, merry-go-round situation, which, although not true to the books, is exactly what happened in this latest incarnation of the Punisher. He even finished the first season by having a gun battle on said merry go round, which was corny and way too on the nose, but still. Come on, Jennifer Garner! You're better than this.
