Jon Favreau is finally disclosing some information about his upcoming Star Wars series that he's both writing and producing, and I am pretty excited that it's about a Mandalorian. I thought that the prequels butchered Boba and Jango, and seeing Boba Fett as a kid did not do much for me. Honestly, besides the fight with Obi-Wan, I thought Jango was kind of wasted in the films.
But now we've got a post via Instagram from Jon Favreau, which announces the show’s title as "The Mandalorian", although it will not be about Boba Fett or Jango Fett, presumably, instead set on "the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic”.
