If you've been waiting for a chance to check out the animated Batman series in all its glory, your wait has come to an end (provided you have $100). This is the definitive collection, containing 109 episodes of the animated Batman run that debuted on Fox in 1992. This ain't no kids only affair, either, and the Animated Series is often in the conversation of best Batman iteration ever, live action or otherwise. Containing both Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures, these classic series are in 1080p, which is a huge upgrade from the 480p that we've been offered by streaming services or the DVD collection.
The deluxe limited edition has more to offer than just the episodes- you'll also get a Harley, Joker and Batman Funko Pocket Pop, commentaries on the origin and development of the show from the writers, producers, and even Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy, who are the Joker and Batman respectively. There are also seven cards that display great moments from the show included, and finally, you also get two animated Batman films; my personal favorite, Mask of the Phantasm, and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero.
Here's everything you'll get in the deluxe edition, you can get yours now on Amazon, but beware: a lot of people are claiming that poor packaging is messing up their box sets, with many arriving dinged up with the edges crushed.
