T.J. Miller has had a bit of a rough go in the last year or so, despite playing Weasel in both of the wildly successful Deadpool films, the comedy relief in a film that is already jam-packed with comedy. In the last year or so, Miller has lost his job starring in Silicon Valley, called in a fake bomb threat, (verbally) attacked producers in interviews and been accused of showing up wasted on-set.
All in all, he ain't doing so hot, which is drag, because I love the guy's comedy. With all of this happening, it was no surprise when it was reported that he would not be reprising his role as Weasel in Deadpool 3, but after some tweets came his way lamenting the character's loss, Miller answered back, saying;
"Guys. There are no plans yet for a deadpool 3. I’m contracted to do a third, but saying I’m not going to be in something that has yet to exist is like saying “t.j. confirmed he will not be reincarnated into an elephant.”
There you have it. Shockingly, the internet freaked out about something that wasn't true, and took the info as gospel without checking any facts of any kind. It's a first for sure folks.
Once Upon A Deadpool, a PG-13 rated version of the film that will contribute proceeds to the "Fuck Cancer" fund, is out December 12th.
