This has been coming down the pipe forever, in terms of development and production and one has to ask, at some point, why? The trilogy was perfect, and a lot of these themes shown in the trailer have already been covered in earlier films. The answer? Most likely, money. But I digress.
On the road of life there are old friends, new friends, and stories that change you. In theatres June 21, the film follows everyone's favorite toy cowboy, Woody. Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip ensues with all your favorites. I am assuming they will learn important lessons, as they tend to do.
Toy Story 4 is Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), and hits theaters on June 21, 2019.
