Ooooh, come on April 26th. Looking forward to this quite a bit, as I'm sure everyone else who identifies as a human being is. We've been getting a pretty steady stream of superhero flicks as of late, from Aquaman to Captain Marvel to this weekend's Shazam!, which I am pumped to check out, but Avengers Endgame is the big one.
Here's the synopsis, in case you somehow don't know: After half of all life in the universe was killed due to the actions of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to revert those actions in one final stand.
In the trailer, we see the new/old squad flying into space to go brawl with Thanos, but it's a motley crew at best: Thor, War Machine, Black Widow, Captain America, Rocket Raccoon, and Captain Marvel, and really, the only big powerhouses are Captain Marvel and Thor. The hell are Rocket and Widow going to do? Shoot pistols at him?
The flick is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and the screenplay's by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. You already know the stars, but here they are again: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin.
April 26th, friends. April 26th.
