First of all, no spoilers in my always top-notch report here, but there are massive, massive spoilers for those who haven't seen Avengers Endgame in the trailer, so DO NOT WATCH THIS TRAILER BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN ENDGAME. The trailer has a warning on it as well, but I'm also telling you now, ok? No crying.
As for the villain, nice try, people who make Spider-Man movies; nice try. Not only are you bringing Mysterio around for the first time in franchise history, you're gonna try and get me to believe he's going to be a good guy?
Naw.
Mysterio ain't gonna be no good guy. For one, what? He's going to team-up with Spidey (yeah, maybe at first) and then help him to save the day? He's going to have his own spin-off films? He's going to actually be a good guy from an alternate earth? Or he'll die and crush Spider-Man's little heart all over again?
Naw.
We're talking about the guy who fakes an alien invasion and frames Spider-Man for a bank robbery like the first two times he appears in comics. I'm not buying this for one second. Another thing I'm not really buying? The elemental monsters. I am not excited for elemental monsters. Elemental monsters are actually pretty dumb, they are not at all creative (durrrr, earth, wind, fire, water, monsters!) and I've seen them a thousand times before. Not pumped for that at all.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is heading to theaters on July 2nd.
