DAYMARE: 1998'S NEW TEASER SHOWS ITS BLACK EDITION, OUT ON APRIL 28TH!
Ahead of its physical release, Destructive Games, All In! Games, Meridiem Games and developer Invader Studios are thrilled to reveal a new teaser trailer for Daymare: 1998 Black Edition. This third-person survival horror game, an old-school title that pays homage to the 90s classics of the genre, will be released on PlayStation 4 on April 28th in retail stores. The physical release comes in an exclusive edition, brought to you by Meridiem Games: Daymare 1998: The Black Edition will feature a premium case, a set of character's cards and stickers.
The PS4 port of Daymare: 1998, created by Slipgate Studios in partnership with the developers and publishers of the game, keeps the quality standards of the original PC version. Perfectly adapted to controllers and taking full advantage of the consoles experience, Daymare 1998 offers a natural, responsive and seamless gameplay -- just what you need when you're surrounded by a horde of bloodthirsty undead!
Meridiem Games is in charge of producing and distributing the Black Edition across Europe. Daymare: 1998 debuted on PC on September 17 and gathered positive reviews amongst critics and players. This survival horror is a love letter to the nineties classics, recreating the scary atmosphere of the classics that founded the genre while offering a fresh and innovative story. Daymare: 1998 will be released simultaneously across Europe and the Americas on April 28th and brought to European retail stores (PS4) on the same date thanks to the publisher distribution partner Meridiem Games. Daymare: 1998 is a third-person survival horror game with hardcore survival mechanics and unyielding enemies. It requires a strategic approach to combat and puzzles and offers a multi-character perspective of the story, revealing deep and obscure lore. Follow the steps of an elite soldier, a helicopter pilot, and a forest ranger as they play out their roles in an event that transforms one peaceful small town into a dead zone and its citizens into bloodthirsty monsters. Take the creatures down first, and then look for any clues or evidence that you can piece together to make sense of the chaos. Keep track of your inventory, as resources will be scarce!
