AETERNA NOCTIS RELEASES NEW GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE IN DREAMHACK BEYOND
The anticipated Metroidvania game, selected to be showcased in DreamHack Beyond, releases an extended footage of The Light Tower area to mark the occasion
Aeternum Game Studio announced today that their anticipated 2D hand-drawn metroidvania Aeterna Noctis has been selected to be showcased in Dreamhack Beyond, a worldwide event that is taking place from July 24th to 31st. To mark the occasion, the studio is releasing today the new gameplay footage of Aeterna Noctis that they will be showing in the event. The new footage reveals more than five minutes of challenging gameplay of The Light Tower, one of the most technical and difficult areas of the game. Precise jumps, portals, magical enemies and a new zone that forces players to master timing to overcome it are some of its key features. You can pay a free online visit to Aeternum Game Studio at DreamHack in The Very Normal Hive Hall 1. Besides showcasing AeternaNoctis, the studio will host an event with a speedrunner, that will stream the level while revealing some of its hidden secrets. More information will be shared on their social media and in their stand.
To celebrate this announcement, the studio has just released a new gameplay trailer that you can check below these lines. Aeterna Noctis will release on Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch on December 15th.
ABOUT AETERNA NOCTIS
Aeterna Noctis is a 2D hand-drawn Metroidvania. Supported by PlayStation Spain as part of their program PlayStation®Alianzas, Aeterna Noctis tells the story of the King of Darkness and the Queen of Light. They are both cursed to fight each other eternally and even death could not free them from their destiny since they have been granted the gift of immortality. Players will experience this never-ending conflict through 16 challenging levels. Each of the 16 levels included in the game is designed to be unique and different from the rest, full of dangers and hazards for the player -- including more than 100 different enemies, over 20 powerful final bosses, and dozens of challenging puzzles. Aeterna Noctis will be released on Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch on December 15th.
