About Dejima Games
Dejima was founded in 2016 in the snow-covered city of Sapporo, Japan, by Julien Ribassin. The same year he released his first commercial game, illumine. Seoul based artist Gabriel Miller is mostly known for his work on games like Strike Vector, Remilore and the upcoming bloodthirsty helicopter aztec goddess simulator Megacopter. Gabriel and Julien started exchanging ideas in 2017. Firegirl is the first game coming out of their unexpected collaboration. Before partnering with Thunderful, Firegirl was recognised at BitSummit 2019 with the IGN Japan Media Award and has been the recipient of a 2020 Epic Megagrant.
