PIXEL ART POINT & SLASH GREEDVENTORY ANNOUNCED AT GUERRILLA COLLECTIVE!
Nordcurrent Labs (Vilnius, Lithuania) and Black Tower Basement (Kharkiv, Ukraine) have just announced Greedventory, a brand new 2D pixel art point & slash adventure, at Guerrilla Collective. This story-driven action adventure with souls-like elements challenges players to master the traditional hack & slash mechanics with a twist: instead of smashing buttons, players will have to attack, defend and parry using its mouse, thrusting and slashing with it as if it was their own sword! Greedventory will be available for PC on Steam and GOG.
Greedventory blends different genres adding a unique twist. It's an action adventure set in a 2D world with beautiful (and quite bloody) pixel art. There are some souls-like elements (you should be ready to die A LOT) but its unique feature is its combat system: instead of using a controller or a keyboard, Greedventory challenges players to be able to attack, but most importantly parry, their enemies. It's a game crafted for skilled people that want to feel rewarded once they master the flow of the game.
ABOUT GREEDVENTORY
Your uncle wasn't joking when he told you you should embark on an adventure. The Igneous Sigil Brotherhood has seized control of all magical artifacts in the world, and you will have to retrieve them. With an ancient imp as your travel companion safely tucked in your backpack, you will have to master spells, defeat powerful bosses, and face the Brotherhood to succeed. No one said it would be easy, so get ready to die a lot – but with style.
