Wanted: Dead's Bizarre In-Universe Cooking Show Continues
In the latest trailer for Vivienne's Late Night Chow, Wanted: Dead's surreal in-universe cooking show, there's a whole variety of dead meat on display. Interspersing clips of Vivienne, played by Stefanie Joosten, with flashes of Wanted: Dead's brutal, sword-slashing gameplay, the trailer gives us a flavour of what to expect when it comes to the tone of the game's dark, off-the-wall and sometimes humorous rendition of a future dystopian Hong Kong.
Wanted: Dead is a high-octane sci-fi action game bringing stylish John Wick-esque violence to Playstation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in Q4 2022. You play as Lt. Hannah Stone, imprisoned as one of the losing combatants in a global war and given one final chance to escape her imprisonment as she takes charge of an elite team who work outside the purview of the traditional police force known as "Zombie Squad". Step into a retro-cyberpunk vision of Hong Kong where synthetic workers and advanced weaponry exist alongside VHS tapes and cars that look like they are straight out of the 90s.
Developed by talent that created Ninja Gaiden, Wanted: Dead carries that series' hardcore DNA, with intelligent enemies pushing you to master the game's systems. Wanted: Dead forces players to learn how to use combos, parries and the other tools it gives you to full effect to overcome the inevitable ass-kickings the game will be dishing out. The reward will be aesthetically pleasing bouts of blood and violence and the sense of satisfaction that comes with becoming a flawless fighting machine.
Those who went to delve deeper into the world of Wanted: Dead should check out the recently released story trailer, giving players new insight into a world of shady corporate intrigue and showing off more of the stylish violence that will confront them when they take on the challenging combat Wanted: Dead will deliver in Q4 this year.
