Solo Developer tries to Release Game as a Service Autobattler
JWaffleGames today announced that their free to play competitive autobattler Hellfire Tactics will be releasing on the 10th November 2022. In Hellfire Tactics, 8 players compete to draft Units and build strategies to overwhelm their opponents.
Unlike many other free to play card games there are no booster packs or pay to win advantages in Hellfire Tactics. Every player has access to all the units in the game from the get go with no restrictions. As the game is a passion project for founder and solo developer Jeremy the emphasis has always been on fair and balanced gameplay above all else.
"Building a Game as a Service by yourself is not for the feint of heart, but I wanted to setup the game in a way it can grow and expand with the community playing it. The biggest issue I see with competitive games, especially those that are card based is the meta becoming too stagnant without new content. This is the main reason I wanted to ensure the game was built from the ground up with that in mind."

What sets Hellfire Tactics apart?
Unit Bans
Hellfire Tactics will include 90+ Units and 30+ Archdemons at launch. The unique Banning system means every match will have a subset of Units and their corresponding Artifacts and Rituals banned, leading to completely different strategies every single game.
Dynamic Board Links
The board is alive and powerful links control whether a Units power can be activated or not. By customizing these links on your board you can unlock entirely new combinations for different Units.
Shared Pool Drafting
There are a limited number of units in the drafting pool so players may not find what they need if someone else has taken them. This makes scouting and being flexible with your builds incredibly important.
Hellfire Tactics will be releasing on November 10th 2022. Players can wishlist and follow it on the Steam Page https://store.steampowered.com/app/1360940/Hellfire_Tactics/
