Grabbeth Thine Quills! Ink-Based Strategy Indie Inkulinati Launches to PC Early Access and Xbox Game Preview

Rabbit bottoms and braying asses collide in Inkulinati: the turn-based strategy game ripped from the pages of medieval manuscripts.

HAMBURG, Germany - January 31, 2023. Developer Yaza Games and Publisher Daedalic Entertainment just launched their absurdly charming medieval strategy game, Inkulinati, to PC Early Access and Xbox Game Preview. Players keen to master the Living Ink can grab the turn-based tactics title today on Xbox One and Series X|S via Xbox Game Preview and Game Pass, or on PC and Mac via Steam Early Access, GOG Early Access, and the Microsoft Store (for PC only). Inkulinati will arrive on Nintendo Switch with the full release of the game.

Inkulinati is an ink-based strategy game ripped straight from the pages of medieval manuscripts, where a rabbit’s bum can be deadlier than a dog's sword. Assume the role of a mighty Inkulinati wielding the power of Living Ink to command comical but deadly, combatants: donkeys playing trumpets with their bottoms, bishop cats vanquishing heretics with prayers, sluggish but lethal snails that eat units alive, and many more bizarre critters to add to your bestiary. Each stylishly inked creature plays a strategic combat role, while legendary medieval characters such as Dante and Hildegard can turn the tide of battle.

Inkulinati’s Early Access launch includes a polished game experience, two game modes, and plentiful content to explore. In the solo campaign, players will fight famous Inkulinati masters in their journey across the land, and tame fearsome beasts as they build their ultimate army. In a revival of the classic hot-seat game mode, players can also challenge other Inkulinati in local PvP battles. Yaza Games confirmed plans to update the game with additional Beasts, Inkulinati Masters, and Battlefields during early access; online multiplayer mode is also in the works.

After 700 years in the making, Inkulinati is now available on PC Early Access and Xbox Game Preview. Players can stay up to date with the ink-based indie on Yaza Games website, or share their Early Access feedback on Twitter and Discord.
