DEVOUR DEVELOPER ANNOUNCES “LASERS”, A BRUTAL ONLINE PLATFORMER GAME
LASERS is a multiplayer game about surviving deadly laser mazes. Only one player can win. Will it be you?
Edinburgh, UK – Straight Back Games, a UK-based publisher and developer, formally announces the fast paced, challenging LASERS, coming to Windows PC this January 11th for FREE.
LASERS takes players back to the chaotic, competitive and intensely challenging ‘the floor is lava’ vibes of their youth. Each player will face a series of brutal laser mazes and puzzles designed to test the limits of their focus, dexterity and sanity. Facing off against up to 9 other players, there are no prizes for second or third place. The first player to successfully reach the end of a level wins. Everyone else is laser food!
In LASERS, players will choose from a selection of unique gym bros and girls to guide through a series of devilish levels featuring moving platforms, laser walls, and much more. With a visible timer for each challenge, not only must players beat their competitors, but also complete the challenge within the allotted time. The price for one wrong move is a whole lot of blood, guts, and flying limbs!

Members of the Straight Back Games team work on a variety of different projects and LASERS was born out of the desire for the entire team to spend time together developing a fresh, original and exciting multiplayer title. All members of the team enjoy a challenging platformer, and with the team’s first successful title being the acclaimed horror game DEVOUR, the decision to add some dismemberment into the mix was an easy one!
LASERS will be available 11th January 2024 for Windows PC via Steam for FREE.
